Peter Stone

Peter Stone has a diverse work experience in the field of web development and software engineering. Peter currently works as a Web Developer at Scorpion since March 2021. Prior to that, they were a Software Engineer Intern at Finta from January 2021 to March 2021. From September 2018 to December 2020, Peter worked as a Senior Advisor at ChampKid Design, where they helped small businesses increase leads and sales by implementing the Story Funnel framework into their sales funnel and designing UI/UX. Peter also conducted strategy calls with potential clients. As a Team Lead at Lambda School from May 2020 to September 2020, Peter mentored Lambda School graduates, assisted in resume preparation and portfolio building, conducted stand-up meetings, and provided 1:1 assistance. Additionally, Peter gained experience as a Freelance Full Stack Developer at Stonesquared Development from July 2018 to September 2020, specializing in React, Redux, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, and Express.

Peter attended BloomTech from 2019 to 2020, where they studied Full Stack Web Development. Prior to that, from 2017 to 2018, Peter enrolled in Treehouse and obtained a degree in Front End Web Development. In 2012, Peter attended Centralia College and completed an Associate's degree in General Studies. Additionally, in 2015, they received a Certificate of Completion in Drama and Dramatics/Theatre Arts from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.

Peter also holds several certifications. Peter obtained a certification in Full-Stack Web Development + Technical Interviewing from Lambda School in August 2020. In April 2020, Peter acquired the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and AWS Cloud Practitioner certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Lastly, Peter obtained a certification in Front End Web Development from Treehouse in 2018.
