Zach Ritenour has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Zach began their professional journey as a Summer Camp Counselor at Camp 603, where they played an active role in the camp's development and led groups of children aged 10-16. In 2020, they worked as an Editorial Intern at BroBible, writing daily blogs on topics like sports, entertainment, and culture. Zach then joined USA TODAY Sports Media Group as a Contributing Writer for Colorado Buffaloes Wire, producing 20 articles monthly covering University of Colorado Athletics. Zach honed their digital publishing and WordPress skills during this time. In 2021, they became a Sales Floor Team Member at Epic Mountain Gear (Boulder) under Vail Resorts, responsible for ski and snowboard maintenance, equipment organization, and sales. Zach's latest position is as a Content Manager at Scorpion, starting in 2022.

Zach Ritenour obtained their high school diploma from Bedford High School, where they attended from 2013 to 2017. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism with a minor in History from the University of Colorado Boulder. Zach attended the university from 2017 to 2021. In addition to their formal education, Zach has obtained various certifications. In 2017, they obtained the AIARE Level 1 certification from the American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education. In 2019, they acquired the American Red Cross CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard certification from the American Red Cross. Afterward, in 2022, Zach obtained the Wilderness/Remote Location First Aid certification from the NATIONAL OUTDOOR LEADERSHIP SCHOOL. Finally, in the same year, they completed the "Building a Coaching Culture: Improving Performance Through Timely Feedback" certification offered by LinkedIn.
