Vassilis Dimopoulos

Vassilis Dimopoulos has over 20 years of work experience in finance and business management. Vassilis most recently served as the Group CFO for Scorpios Mykonos, where they directed business, finance, and F&B operations for multiple subsidiaries. Prior to this, they worked as a Finance Manager & Legal Representative for H.B. Fuller, overseeing financial planning, reporting, and crisis management. Vassilis also has experience as a Finance Manager for Greece and Turkey at Forbo Group, where they managed budgeting and forecasting, and as a Chief Internal Auditor - Financial Controller at Ridenco SA, where they prepared group financial statements and facilitated an IPO. Earlier in their career, Vassilis worked as a Senior Auditor at KPMG Greece, specializing in audit and reporting for various industries, including pharmaceuticals and retail. Vassilis started their career as a Financial Analyst - Account Officer at both Euroxx Securities and Eurωmony AELDE, where they conducted financial analysis and traded stocks and derivatives.

Vassilis Dimopoulos completed an Educational Institute for Certified Auditors/Accountants (ACCA) program from IESOEL-Educational Institute for Certified Auditors/Accountants. Vassilis also earned a Master's degree in Finance and Banking - executive from the Economic University of Athens (AUEB-Athens University of Economics and Business) and a Bachelor's degree in Economics (major) from the same university. Furthermore, they obtained certification as a Certified Advisor on Financial Derivatives from ADEX-Athens Derivatives EXchange.
