Sharifah Burford

Sharifah Burford is a dedicated sustainability professional currently working as a Sustainability Consultant at NDY since April 2023. Previously, Sharifah held the position of Sustainability Engineer at Long and Partners from April 2019 to October 2022, where responsibilities included conducting BREEAM assessments, leading sustainable engineering initiatives, and managing ISO 14001 accreditation. Earlier experience also encompasses roles as a Mechanical Engineer, focusing on ventilation and pipework CAD design, and as an Administrative Assistant at Streatham Hub Children’s Centre, where tasks involved liaising with parents and managing appointments. Sharifah began a career at Brunel University London as a Bar Staff Supervisor while also serving as the Netball Club Captain, demonstrating strong leadership and organizational skills throughout. Sharifah holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Brunel University London, earned in 2018.
