Antony Green Freng

Antony Green FREng currently serves as the Chief Strategy and Regulation Officer and Director of Future of Energy at SGN, overseeing energy transition and innovation initiatives. Since September 2020, Antony has held the position of President at the European Gas Research Group (GERG) and recently became a Visiting Professor at Loughborough University. Additionally, Antony is a Board Member at mua Group and a Non-Executive Director at Hexla. Previously, Antony served on the Executive Board of IGEM, including roles as Immediate Past President and President, and held the position of Hydrogen Director at both National Gas Transmission and National Grid. Antony has extensive experience in utilities and infrastructure, having worked as Vice President at DNV GL and GL Noble Denton, focusing on Gas and Water Utilities and related sectors. Antony holds a BEng in Civil Engineering from the University of Birmingham and a Diploma in Water and Environmental Management from the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management.
