Malcolm McKee

Malcolm McKee serves as the Chief Technology Officer at SGN since May 2023 and holds the position of Chair of the Industrial Advisory Board for the Department of Computing at the University of Surrey, a role undertaken since January 2019. Additionally, Malcolm contributes as a Visiting Senior Fellow at the University of Surrey. Previously, Malcolm was the Chief Technology Officer and Deputy Director - Group Head of Architecture, Data and Innovation at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs from January 2017 to May 2023. Engagements also include advising the UK Scout Association’s Board on digital technology matters and multiple roles at EDF Energy, such as Principal Enterprise Architect and Nuclear Generation Portfolio Manager. Malcolm began the career as a Technical and Business Consultant at Logica after working as a Fuels Researcher at Esso. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Strategy from Kingston University and a BSc Hons in Computing with IT from the University of Surrey.
