Alireza Javaheri

Alireza Javaheri is a Managing Director at Scotiabank and has held the position of Managing Director, Head of Equity Derivatives Quantitative Strategies at Credit Suisse from 2016 to 2023. They previously worked at J.P. Morgan as Director, Head of Equities Quantitative Research Americas and held various quantitative analyst roles at Lehman Brothers, RBC, Goldman Sachs, and Citigroup. Alongside their industry experience, Alireza has served as an adjunct professor at Columbia University and New York University since 2011. Alireza earned a Ph.D. in Finance from MINES ParisTech and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
