Andy Phung

Andy Phung currently serves as Assistant Manager in Collateral Management at Scotiabank, where responsibilities include managing the Latin American margin call desk for OTC derivatives products while negotiating with counterparties in both English and Spanish. Previously, Andy was an analyst in the Catalyst Development Program at Scotiabank, part of a two-year post-graduate journey through various functions of the bank's capital market operations. Prior experience includes a role as a Student Assistant for the Vancouver Summer Program at the University of British Columbia, where organization of social events and management of digital marketing campaigns were key tasks. Additionally, Andy worked as a Business Development Executive at Konia Group, leading a successful product launch in Vietnam through targeted marketing strategies. Andy holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance with a concentration in Business Law from the University of British Columbia, obtained between 2019 and 2023.
