Carla Deeks

Carla Deeks is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in commercial banking and corporate banking at Scotiabank. Currently serving as Managing Director and Co-Head of Commercial Banking National Accounts for Central Canada since January 2020, Carla has a strong background that includes roles as Corporate Banking Director and Associate Director within Scotiabank Global Banking and Markets from 2014 to 2020. Prior to that, Carla held various positions at Scotiabank, starting as a Corporate Banking Analyst and rising through the ranks. Carla's career began at PepsiCo as a Financial Analyst and included a summer role as a Global Trading Analyst at Scotia Capital. Carla holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from Queen's University and completed the Accelerated Management Program at Yale School of Management.
