Dan Beck is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in the energy and infrastructure sectors. Currently serving as Managing Director of Global Banking and Markets at Scotiabank since August 2010, Dan specializes in mergers and acquisitions, as well as corporate finance within the energy domain. Prior to this role, Dan gained valuable experience at Pala Investments as an Associate Intern, focusing on the mining and natural resources sectors, and worked at TD Securities as an Equity Research Associate in the oil and gas group. Earlier career experience includes a position as a Production Engineer at Petro Canada. Dan holds an MBA in Finance from London Business School and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of British Columbia.
