Diego Apter

Diego Apter, CFA, CIPM, is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Senior Manager of the CPR Team at 1832 Asset Management LP since September 2020, overseeing client and prospect reporting. With a career spanning over 20 years, Diego has held various senior management roles at Scotiabank, including oversight of investment management in Latin America and the Caribbean, where responsibilities included managing over $15 billion in assets under management and ensuring performance against benchmarks. Previous positions include senior roles at the Ontario Financing Authority, AGF Funds Inc, and Fidelity Investments, where responsibilities ranged from investor relations to portfolio specialization and product development. Diego holds a Master's degree in Economics from York University and is a graduate of the CFA Institute, having earned both the CFA and CIPM designations.
