Fredrik Nilsson

Fredrik Nilsson is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as the Managing Director and Head of FICC Trading and Equity Derivatives at Scotiabank. With extensive experience at Scotiabank since 2021, they have held various senior roles, including Global Head of Fixed Income and Commodity Trading, and Managing Director of Emerging Markets and CVA. Prior to this, they worked as a Portfolio Manager for Emerging Markets at the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan from 2006 to 2008. Fredrik earned an M.B.A. from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto and a B.Sc. in International Trade and Finance from Louisiana State University.
