John Cole

John Cole is an experienced equity trader and relationship manager currently serving as the Director of Equity Trading at Scotia Capital, where they specialize in capital allocation within the mining and industrial sectors. They have a significant history of trading across all sectors in the Canadian market and are a key member of the corporate relationship team that collaborates with investment banking. Prior to their current role, John held director positions in equity trading at UBS and RBC Capital Markets. They also spent several years as a professional baseball player with the Seattle Mariners, after being drafted in the 5th round in 2001. John holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto and a BBA from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
