Katy Waugh is an experienced Senior Vice President at Scotiabank, where they lead a 75-person legal department responsible for all aspects of the Bank's legal work across Canada, the UK, and Asia. They interact regularly with global legal counterparts to assist the Bank's General Counsel in managing a global team and support various business functions, including litigation and employment law programs. Prior to their current role, Katy worked as an Associate at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP and was involved in the Bank’s Global Risk Management group. Katy earned their Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Windsor and a Bachelor's degree from Queen's University.
