Sumit Somani possesses extensive experience in application development and software engineering, currently serving as Manager Application Development at Scotiabank since August 2018, after holding the position of Programmer Analyst Advisory. Prior to Scotiabank, Sumit worked at CGI from October 2010 to August 2018 as a Senior Consultant and Senior Software Engineer. Experience also includes a role as an Application Developer at IBM from May 2008 to October 2010 and as an Engineer at HIL Limited for a brief period in early 2008. Sumit holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Rajasthan, completed in June 2007.
