Jen Forsyth

Jen Forsyth is a legal professional with extensive experience in infrastructure and project law. Currently serving as Head of Legal at ScotRail since April 2024, Forsyth previously held roles as a Solicitor for both The Scottish Government and Scottish Water, as well as a Senior Associate at Brodies LLP, focusing on complex construction projects. Notably, Forsyth was a Senior Solicitor at Glasgow City Council, overseeing a £1.13 billion City Deal for infrastructure projects. Additional positions include Legal Counsel for RES Ltd in Western Europe and Legal Manager for Special Projects at Glasgow 2014 Limited, the Organising Committee for the Commonwealth Games. Forsyth began a legal career at DLA Piper, specializing in large-scale infrastructure projects. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Diploma in Legal Practice from the University of Glasgow and the Glasgow Graduate School of Law, respectively.
