Matthew Goldberg

Matthew Goldberg currently serves as the Senior Environmental Risk Manager at Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks, a position held since August 2022. Prior to this role, Matthew was the Head of Environmental Strategy & Innovation (Gas) at National Grid from May 2017 to August 2022, leading a team focused on environmental and sustainability strategy while ensuring compliance and risk mitigation. Matthew's experience also includes significant roles at Clancy Docwra, where leadership of environment and sustainability initiatives spanned several positions, from Head of Environment and Sustainability to Senior Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor. Earlier career highlights feature roles at Michael J Lonsdale and Nomura International as an Environmental Officer, following an academic foundation with a BSc in Environmental Science from Kingston University.
