Clare Hume is an accomplished Drama Artist and Artistic Director with extensive experience in the arts and education sector since 2005. Currently serving as Artistic Director at Raincoat and Slippers Theatre and Resident Drama Tutor at Cosgrove Care, Clare also contributes as a Resident Drama Teacher with Scottish Autism and a drama artist with Project-Ability, focusing on making visual art accessible through performance. Additionally, Clare co-founded and directs ShowDowns!, a program aimed at teens and adults with Down's Syndrome, and delivers educational workshops at National Museums Scotland. Clare's past roles include directing science education touring shows for the Edinburgh International Science Festival and serving as a Multi-sensory Specialist and External Examiner at the University of Strathclyde. Clare obtained a Master of Education in The Performing Arts from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2023.
