Jay Wasim

Dr. Jay Wasim is an accomplished academic and leader in executive education, currently serving as the Head of Executive Education at Heriot-Watt University since December 2021. With extensive experience as an Associate Professor and Head of Business and Management, Dr. Wasim has successfully driven significant growth in academic programs, notably achieving 341% growth in the flagship Executive MBA program. Dr. Wasim has also held various leadership roles, including Director of the IMIM Programme and Global Programme Director focusing on Business Strategy, Leadership, and Change Management. Furthermore, Dr. Wasim contributes as a Board Member for the Social Enterprise Academy International and engages in multiple mentoring and assessment roles across various organizations. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Strategy, Enterprise, and Innovation from the University of Portsmouth, alongside master's and undergraduate degrees in Innovation Management, Entrepreneurship, and Business Administration, respectively.
