Iain Black

Iain Black has experience working as a Data Engineering Team Lead at Scottish Enterprise since July 2019. Before that, they worked as an ETL Developer at CalMac Ferries Limited from February 2018 to October 2018. Prior to that, they were a Technical Consultant at CGI from June 2002 to October 2017.

Iain Black received a BSc in Software Engineering from the University of the West of Scotland in the years 1999-2001. Iain also obtained a BSc in Computer Studies from the University of Strathclyde between 1990-1992. In terms of additional certifications, Iain acquired multiple certifications from Microsoft, including MCPS (Microsoft Certified Professional), MCTS (SQL Server 2008, Business Intelligence Development and Maintenance), Exam 461: Querying Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2014, and MCSA (SQL Server 2012/2014 - Certified 2017).
