Jane Martin

Jane took up her most recent post in March 2022. She is a member of Scottish Enterprise’s Executive Leadership team.

Her last role, as Managing Director of Business Growth, supported business growth across Scotland through grant funding operations, establishing new models of delivery and ensuring more businesses can access our support. She was a founding member of the Business Support Partnership Programme, working to align and streamline access to business support across the delivery landscape in Scotland.

Other roles have included digital transformation, service design and marketing, and communications both in Scotland and internationally.

As Managing Director of Innovation and Investment, she'll lead our work to help build economic systems that help entrepreneurs, industries and communities in Scotland to thrive. With a real focus on innovation and place, Scottish Enterprise will make the most of Scotland’s strengths and assets regionally and nationally — helping to build collaborative working and strong, effective partnerships to execute on major opportunities.

Jane has a BA (Hons) from the University of Glasgow. She is a non-Executive Director for Pitlochry International Festival Theatre and a volunteer for DSL Business Finance Ltd, a not-for-profit business lending organisation.
