David Ogilvie

David Ogilvie is a seasoned environmental professional currently serving as the Sepa Senior Environment Performance Manager at the Scottish Environment Protection Agency since October 2022. With a career at SEPA spanning over two decades, David has held various key roles, including Decom Reg Hub Project Executive, where leadership is provided in developing a hub for coordinating decommissioning regulations for oil and gas infrastructure. As Sector Team Manager, David manages the development of SEPA's Sectoral approach and is responsible for creating the Oil and Gas Sector Plan. Additionally, as Unit Manager, oversight is given to environmental regulation in North East Scotland, including license approvals, environmental monitoring coordination, and enforcement actions. David's earlier role as Senior Environmental Protection Officer involved supervising a team of regulators and offering expertise in Water Pollution Control.
