David Olds

David Olds is a seasoned professional in the fields of gamekeeping and emergency services, currently serving as the owner of DJO Rural since April 2024. Since October 2014, David has also held the position of Crew Commander and Firefighter with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service. In addition, David has been a Gamekeeping lecturer at North Highland College UHI since October 2012, sharing expertise in wildlife management. Previous roles include Headstalker at Craiganour Estate and Deerstalker at both Blackmount Estate and Glen Lyon House Estate, along with significant experience as Understalker at Kinveachy Estate and Ponyboy at Fealar Estate. David holds a Master’s degree in Land and Rural Economy from the University of Aberdeen and an HNC in Gamekeeping and Wildlife Management from North Highland College.
