Heather Martin

Heather Martin currently serves as the Change Centre of Excellence Manager at Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, a position held since August 2023. Prior to this role, Martin was the Programme Manager for the Inverness and Highland City-Region Deal at Highland Council from October 2022 to August 2023. Additional experience includes serving as Interim Head of Projects and Programmes at Brunel University London for a brief period in 2022 and as Transformation Portfolio Manager at SRUC from November 2018 to December 2021, where responsibilities included designing and implementing a transformation portfolio aligned with SRUC's strategic goals. Earlier roles at Aberdeen City Council and Aberdeenshire Council involved extensive project and programme management, including major initiatives in community services, waste management, and business transformation. Martin holds a PgDip in Professional Legal Practice from The University of Edinburgh, an LLB in Scots Law from the University of Aberdeen, and an MA (Hons) in Philosophy from the University of St Andrews.
