Nick Shard

Nick Shard is an experienced Endpoint Management Specialist currently working with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service since August 2023. Prior to this role, significant contributions were made at Cyfoeth Naturiol Cymru / Natural Resources Wales from January 2018 to August 2023 as an Enterprise Modernisation Engineer, focusing on the design and build of Azure Virtual Desktop Solutions and Microsoft Intune. Nick has a strong background in application packaging, having worked with various organizations including the Vehicle Certification Agency and the University of Exeter in flexible contract roles. Previous positions also include leading application migrations and upgrades at Dorset County Council and UKHO, with extensive experience across Windows environments. Nick's career began in the Royal Navy, providing a solid technical foundation in system support and management.
