Paul Mathieson has over 18 years of experience in the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, serving in various roles including Station Commander at multiple fire stations, with a focus on health, safety, and wellbeing, as well as coaching and mentoring. Prior to this, Paul held the positions of Watch Commander and Crew Manager, with responsibilities in incident command and local authority liaison. In addition to fire service responsibilities, Paul has experience in football coaching, having served as a Junior Academy Coach at Motherwell Football Club and an Academy Coach at Queen's Park Football Club, as well as a Qualified Referee with SFAR Lanarkshire. Paul also worked as a Community Football Coach with North Lanarkshire Leisure Ltd.
