Ahmed Mohamed

Ahmed Mohamed, MIET, is a Senior Protection and Control Engineer at ScottishPower, overseeing the Protection, Control, and Metering package for Offshore 225/66 KV substations, including the Saint-Brieuc Offshore Wind Farm in France, since December 2020. Previously, Ahmed served as a Protection and Control Engineer at SSE plc., where responsibilities included preparing protection scope and conducting studies for high-voltage networks. Prior experience includes a role as a Protection Engineer at Dubai Electricity & Water Authority, managing the relay approval process for various voltage networks, and as a Protection and Control Engineer at Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company. Ahmed holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Power Engineering from Helwan University, completed between 2000 and 2005.
