Aidan Stringfellow

Head of Regulatory Economics

Aidan Stringfellow is an accomplished professional in the energy sector with a solid background in regulatory economics and international affairs. With experience as an Analyst at Ofgem from September 2017 to March 2019, Aidan participated in various rotations across key divisions including Brexit, the Office of the Chief Economist, and a secondment to the Council of European Energy Regulators in Brussels. Currently at ScottishPower since October 2025, Aidan has held several leadership roles, including Head of Regulatory Economics and Head of Crisis Response Policy. Aidan’s academic credentials include a degree in Economics and Politics from the University of Bath and advanced studies in The Regulation of Energy Utilities at the European University Institute’s Florence School of Regulation.
