Florin-Cristian Mihai

Florin-Cristian Mihai is a seasoned GIS professional with extensive experience across various roles in the field. Currently serving as a Principal GIS Consultant at AECOM Engineering UK&I since February 2022 and as a Senior GIS Consultant at ScottishPower since October 2021, Florin-Cristian leads the development of GIS Web Viewers for Offshore Wind Farms while facilitating collaboration with key stakeholders. Previously, as a GIS Specialist at AECOM from January 2020 to February 2022, responsibilities included managing and analyzing geodata for multi-disciplinary projects. Prior experience also includes serving as a GIS Database Administrator at Apa Nova București and a GIS Analyst at ESRI Romania, where foundational skills in database management and web application development were established. Florin-Cristian holds a Master's degree in Sustainable Development and a PhD in Informatics from ASE Bucharest, along with a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering.
