Mark Alexander

Mark Alexander has diverse work experience in various companies. Mark started their career in 2003 as a Software Engineer at Graham Technology, where they developed a doorstep sales web application and key processes for a self-service website. Mark also migrated 5 million customers to a new solution.

In 2006, they worked as a Technical Architect at Sword Ciboodle, leading a team in upgrading a CRM system and delivering a new self-service website for Eskom and Vodafone.

Mark then joined KANA Software in 2008 as a Principal Architect and stayed until 2012. After that, they worked as a Principal Architect at Verint-Systems from 2012 to 2018.

Their most recent position is Head of Digital Tech & Operations at ScottishPower since 2020. Mark previously worked as a Solutions Architect from 2018 to 2020, focusing on IT/OT integration, Industrial IoT, analytics, Artificial Intelligence, and the implementation of an event-driven architecture for SP Energy Networks.
