Tom Geraghty

Tom Geraghty has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Tom started their career as a Sales Associate at Staples in 2008 and worked there until 2012. Tom then joined BT in 2012 as a Software Engineer Intern and completed their internship in 2013. At BT, they continued to grow and took on roles as a Graduate Software Engineer from 2014 to 2016, a Software Engineer from 2016 to 2018, and finally a Senior Software Engineer from 2018 to 2019. Tom then transitioned to JPMorgan Chase & Co. in 2019, where they worked as a Senior Software Engineer until 2020. Currently, they are working at ScottishPower as a Senior Software Engineer, and they recently received a promotion to Squad Lead Software Engineer in June 2022.

Tom Geraghty attended The University of Manchester from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. In 2014, they obtained the BCS Foundation Certificate in Agile from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. In 2017, they obtained the Vaadin 8 Certified Developer certification from Vaadin.
