Fan Lin

Principal Assessor For Advanced Higher Chinese at SQA – Scottish Qualifications Authority

Fan Lin has a diverse work experience in various educational institutions. From 2012 to present, Fan has been working at the University of Strathclyde as the Principal's adviser on University Engagement with China and previously held roles as the Depute Director and Manager of the Confucius Institute for Scotland's Schools. Prior to that, from 2007 to present, Fan worked at the Scottish Qualifications Authority as the Principal Assessor for Advanced Higher Chinese and as the Development Manager for Chinese languages. Fan also worked as an Associate Tutor at Moray House in the University of Edinburgh from 2008 to 2014, and as a Moderator and Examiner for IGCSE and A-level at the University of Cambridge from 2011 to 2013. In 2010, Fan worked as the General Manager of the Confucius Institute at Learning and Teaching Scotland.

Fan Lin obtained a Master's degree in Management and Leadership in Education from the University of Strathclyde from 2003 to 2005.
