Gavin MacRae

Gavin Macrae is a seasoned professional in sports development and management, currently serving as the Regional Development Manager at Scottish Rugby since October 2022. Prior to this role, Macrae was the Head of Futures Rugby at Edinburgh University Sports Union from September 2018 to September 2022 and held the position of Sports Development Officer at Edinburgh Leisure for nearly twelve years. Earlier experience includes serving as the Senior Sports Development Officer at Clackmannanshire Council and as Sports Manager at ESMS - a family of independent schools, where Macrae contributed from January 2003 to May 2009. Educational background includes studies at George Watson's College, Edinburgh Napier University, and Queen Margaret University.
