Nicola Gunn

Nicola Gunn currently serves as a Trustee for COVEY since May 2025 and as the Director of Development, Brand & Engagement for Scottish SPCA since January 2023. Previously, Nicola held the positions of Vice Chair and Trustee at SiMBA Charity from March 2020 to June 2023, as well as Director of Development and External Affairs and Fundraising Manager at Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home from July 2016 to January 2023. In a prior role at the British Medical Association from December 2015 to July 2016, Nicola was a Local Organiser, successfully piloting a member engagement trial in the West of Scotland. Earlier experience includes serving as Fundraising Manager at Kilbryde Hospice from September 2013 to December 2015, where oversight of fundraising activities was a key responsibility, and as a Fundraiser and Fundraising Assistant at Children's Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS) from April 2008 to August 2013, where Nicola managed fundraising and volunteer efforts in the South West of Scotland and provided administrative support for the West of Scotland team, respectively.
