Nix Shaw

Nix Shaw currently serves as the Community Engagement Manager for North & East Scotland at the Scottish SPCA, Scotland's only all-animal rescue team, starting in January 2024. In addition, Nix operates Redburn Steading, a six-bedroom holiday cottage near Nairn, since April 2021. Prior experience includes Group Head of People at The Happy Consultancy Group, which won Business Culture Consultancy of the Year in 2023, and Group Head of Recruitment at Meallmore Limited, where Nix established a centralized recruitment team. Previous roles encompass Talent Acquisition Partner at Moneybarn, Recruitment Consultant at Elite HR Ltd, HR Manager at SSE plc, Interim HR Business Partner at Estee Lauder, Interim HR Consultant at NKD Learning, and HR Manager at FitzRoyUK, where Nix started as HR Officer. Nix holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management from the University of Portsmouth and a BA in Leisure Management from Coventry University.
