Yating Ou

Yating Ou is an Offshore Wind Engineer at ScottishPower Renewables since December 2023, following an internship at IHCantabria where key responsibilities included evaluating wave definitions for offshore floating platforms using numerical models and analyzing metocean databases. Academic qualifications include multiple Master of Science degrees in Renewable Energy in Marine Environment from Universidad del País Vasco and University College Cork, as well as a Master of Science in Ocean Technology and Marine Affairs from National Cheng Kung University. Yating Ou also holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Environmental Informatics from National Taiwan Ocean University, along with experience as an Assistant Professor of English and Calculus at National Taiwan Ocean University and a Project Intern at the National Science and Technology Center for Disaster Reduction.
