Denis Caes

Denis Caes has a strong background in finance and has worked in various roles throughout their career. Denis began their career at Total as a Credit Analyst and later served as a Risk Controller and Senior Corporate Financial Analyst. Denis then moved into the role of Financial Controller for Total Marine Fuels before being promoted to Deputy Chief Financial Officer and later Chief Financial Officer for Total Marine Fuels Global Solutions. In these roles, they were responsible for accounting, controlling, and treasury functions, as well as leading business process improvement projects. After leaving Total, Denis Caes joined Phoenix Petroleum Philippines Inc. as the Chief Financial Officer for PNX Petroleum Singapore. Currently, they are working at Scoular as the Finance Director APAC, with responsibilities including accounting, tax, treasury, controlling, financing, and risk management across Asia. Denis also supports Scoular's expansion in trading grains, animal feedstuff products, and food products in various countries.

Denis Caes has a diverse education history. Denis completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management from the National University of Singapore in 2016-2017. Prior to that, they obtained a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) certification from the CFA Institute in Investments and Securities in 2008-2010. In 2005-2006, they earned a DEC in Finance from the Institut de Finance & Cambisme. Their undergraduate degree is in Economics & Finance, which they attained from the Université catholique de Louvain in 1998-2003. Denis Caes also holds additional certifications, including Excel Data Visualization Part 1 and Part 2 from LinkedIn and the CFA Institute CE Program 5 Year Milestone, as well as the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute.
