Chris Benjamin

Chris Benjamin has a diverse work experience in the automotive industry. Chris is currently the Chief Design Officer at Scout Motors Inc., starting in 2023. Before that, they worked at Stellantis as the Vice President of Interior Design for Stellantis North America from July 2022 to May 2023. Prior to that role, they held the position of Director of Interior Design for Jeep, Wagoneer, Chrysler, RAM, and Dodge from January 2021 to July 2022.

From 2013 to 2021, Chris worked at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, where they held various roles including Director of Interior Design for Jeep, Wagoneer, and Chrysler, Fusion Director & Head of Interior Design for Jeep, UVs, and Passenger Cars, Director of Interior Design, and Chief Designer for the Chrysler brand interiors.

Earlier in their career, Chris was the Design Director at Volvo Car Corporation, leading a group of interior and exterior designers in the development of the SPA platform and serving as the Exterior Program Chief Designer for the 2013 V40. Chris also worked at BMW Group DesignworksUSA as a Lead Designer and at Daimler as a Senior Designer and Designer. Chris has extensive experience in design leadership roles across multiple automotive companies.

Chris Benjamin attended the College for Creative Studies from 1995 to 1999. During this time, they completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Automotive Design.
