Dan Roberts

Dan Roberts is an accomplished entrepreneur and author with extensive experience in founding and managing innovative technology ventures. As the founder of Scout Alarm since January 2013, Dan has developed a do-it-yourself, wireless home security system. Dan also authored "The Innovator’s Sourcebook," providing a framework for entrepreneurs in the innovation process. Previous roles include founder in residence at Sandbox Industries, co-founder of Bigstove.com, and founder of SideStax, all of which showcase a strong background in startup development. Dan’s career also includes marketing consultancy at Fizmo Inc. and substantial sales achievements as an account executive at Total Quality Logistics. Dan holds an MDes in Design Strategy/Interaction Design from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a BSBA in Marketing, Transportation, and Logistics from The Ohio State University.
