Berumen Ken

Berumen Ken is an experienced physician with a robust background in emergency medicine and medical leadership. Currently serving as Network Director for Emergency Medicine at Schumacher Clinical Partners, Berumen Ken oversees the Emergency Departments at multiple campuses of The Hospitals of Providence. Additionally, Berumen Ken acts as Medical Director for the Emergency Services District #1. Previous roles include Medical Director for the El Paso Fire Department, overseeing training and compliance for over 800 firefighters and paramedics, and Regional Medical Director for EmCare, managing several emergency departments and urgent care centers. Berumen Ken's early career included roles as an Emergency Medicine intern and registered nurse across various departments. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Medicine from UT Southwestern Medical Center and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology from the University of Notre Dame and Registered Nursing from The University of Texas at El Paso.
