Ellen Bentz

Ellen Bentz, RN, BSW, BSN, MPH, Ph.D., currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Quality Initiatives at SCP Health since June 2022. Previously, Ellen held multiple leadership roles at Bon Secours Mercy Health from November 2018 to May 2022, including Chief Safety Officer and Vice President of Safety, Reliability, and Infection Prevention. Ellen's extensive experience in healthcare management includes positions such as System Director of Quality at Bon Secours Health System and Director of Clinical and Service Excellence at Meritus Health. With a foundational background in nursing, Ellen has also contributed as an Educational Resource Specialist at Summit Health and as a Health Services Administrator at Correctional Medical Services. The educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Walden University, an MPH from Drexel University, and other relevant degrees emphasizing nursing and social work.
