Lucy Johnston

Lucy Johnston has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Lucy started their career in 1991 at the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities, where they served as an Assistant Director. In this role, they led a team and worked on bulk power system issues, wholesale electric markets, and environmental policy.

In 2000, Lucy joined Synapse Energy Economics as a Senior Associate. During their time there, they provided consulting services and worked on various projects related to climate change policy, electricity industry policy, regulation and restructuring, energy economics, and environmental policy.

Lucy then moved to scPharmaceuticals in 2013, where they held multiple positions over the years. Lucy started as a Senior Associate, responsible for project management, writing, and editing pharmaceutical products for subcutaneous delivery. Lucy later became a Project Manager and was involved in the development of transformative pharmaceutical products. In 2019, Lucy took on the role of Senior Program Director, where they coordinated a multi-functional team and played a crucial role in meeting program objectives and NDA submissions. Lastly, they served as the VP of Program Management and Regulatory Affairs, overseeing all regulatory activities and developing regulatory strategies.

Throughout their career, Lucy has demonstrated strong project management, regulatory, and leadership skills in various roles and industries.

Lucy Johnston earned a Master's Degree in Energy and Resources Group from the University of California, Berkeley, from 1988 to 1991. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in History and Literature from Harvard University, where they studied from 1981 to 1985.
