Kelsey Campbell is an experienced event coordinator and marketing professional currently employed at Hillsdale College since August 2024, where responsibilities include supporting the planning and execution of campus and nationwide events. Kelsey also serves as a Video Editor/Marketing Intern at Homeplace Creative and previously worked as a Social Media Student Assistant at The University of Findlay, focusing on content production for social media platforms. Prior experience includes roles as an Event Department Intern at The Toledo Zoo & Aquarium and a Social Media Marketing Intern at Aspen Jean Planning, where skills in event planning, marketing strategy, and content creation were developed. Additionally, Kelsey has a background in customer service as a waitress at Scramblers, enhancing communication and teamwork skills. Kelsey holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from The University of Findlay, expected to graduate in 2024, and completed a GED at Jonesville High School in 2020.

Scramblers is a family owned restaurant concept. It began in 1989 with myself and my father, Phil Buerk of Toledo, Ohio at its original location on Secor Road which continues to operate today. Because it is a family business most of my family has been involved in the operation at some time. The recipes for the original menu which remains relatively unchanged came from my father’s background in the food service industry as a multiple unit Wendy's franchisee, my experience in the breakfast business, and advice and suggestions from all of the family whose names the menu carries. As the years passed and the "BEST BREAKFAST IN TOWN" gained popularity, Scramblers opened locations to serve the Toledo, Findlay, and Columbus, Ohio area markets. With the base of unwavering family support, loyal, hardworking staff; and fantastic menu choices we are confident that Scramblers will continue to grow for years to come. Scramblers continues to grow despite the competitiveness of our industry. As a company we are on pace to again achieve our goals of total sales and profitability records by the end of this fiscal year. Inspired by our success we have steadily increased our corporate base. By constantly being on the lookout for new opportunities to expand and with new sites currently in various stages of completion, we will continue to add several restaurant locations every year. Currently stores in Cleveland, Detroit, Dayton and Cincinnati areas.
