James Spottiswoode has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. James began their career as the Director of Research at the Cognitive Science Laboratory, where they focused on applications of pattern recognition and signal analysis for psychophysics research. James then worked as the Chief Statistician at Nielsen, where they developed mathematical models for forecasting motion picture revenues and conducted research on psychometrics.

After leaving Nielsen, James held various roles at different companies. James co-invented and led the development of SATMAP, an AI system for optimizing call center performance, during their time as Chief Scientist at SATMAP Inc. James later became a Consultant and then Chief Scientist at Digital Globe Services, where they used AI techniques to analyze call center data.

James also worked as a Consultant Physicist at The Resource Group, where they replicated a NASA experiment on propellant-less rocket thrusters. James has also developed innovative technologies, such as a simplified phone for the elderly and a remote visual assistance system for the blind, during their time as a Consultant at The Resource Group.

James'smost recent role was as a Consultant to InnovateMR. Throughout their career, James has demonstrated proficiency in statistical analysis, mathematical modeling, and AI techniques.

James Spottiswoode attended the University of Wales from 1977 to 1979, where they obtained a BSc in Applied Mathematics with first-class honors.
