Juan Cano

Juan Cano has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Juan currently serves as the Director of Marketing and Business Development at SCREEN Europe, where they lead marketing efforts, develops and executes marketing strategies, and manages the marketing budget. Prior to this, they worked as the Business Development Director for Flexible Packaging at the same company, where they helped converters and brand owners transition to inkjet digital printing.

Before joining SCREEN Europe, Juan had various roles such as Head of Sales at Sappi Europe, Director of Business Development at Thinfilm, and Head of Product Line Laminating at BOBST. At BOBST, they were responsible for strategic and tactical development, P&L, customer relationship management, and increasing profitability. Juan also worked as the Sales & Marketing Director for the Vacuum Web Coating and Metallising division at BOBST, where they achieved significant sales growth and expanded sales operations globally.

Juan's earlier experiences include working as the Business Development Manager at Tate & Lyle Sugars, where they led cross-functional teams and developed new products, and as a Senior Export Sales Manager at Russell Finex Ltd, where they built a global network of agents and OEMs, established local operations in emerging markets, and managed a sales team. Juan also had previous roles at Russell Finex Ltd as the Export Sales Manager for Southern Europe and as an Export Sales Engineer.

Before their role at Russell Finex Ltd, Juan worked as a Polymer Specialist at AkzoNobel- Packaging Coatings. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong leadership, strategic planning, sales growth, and business development skills.

Juan Cano has a strong educational background in business administration and management. From 2021 to 2023, they pursued a degree in Business Administration and Management, specializing in Leadership Live, at Hult Ashridge. Prior to this, they completed an MBA from Oxford Brookes University from 2009 to 2011. In 1998 to 1999, Juan obtained an MSc in Polymer Science and Technology from The University of Manchester. Juan'seducational journey began in 1992 at Universidad de Granada, where they graduated with a degree in Chemistry after completing a five-year program.
