Guus Slotman

Guus Slotman is currently working as an AI Research Scientist at ScreenPoint Medical, where Guus applies deep learning methods to detect breast cancer in digital mammograms. Prior to this, Guus was a PhD Student at Radboud University Nijmegen, focusing on mesoscopic simulations of two-dimensional materials. Guus also has experience as a Research Intern at the Theory of Condensed Matter group, where Guus worked on structural properties of materials similar to graphene. Guus holds a PhD in Computational Physics, an MSc in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics, and a BSc in Physics from Radboud University.
