Noud van Klinken has worked in a variety of roles since 1983. Noud began their career as an IT developer/sysop for Bertus Distributie in 1991. From 1996 to 2001, they worked as a system engineer for SPaSE, where they designed parts of the DVB-T demod. From 2001 to 2003, they were a senior system engineer for Micronas, working on TV signal demodulators. From 2009 to 2012, they were a senior staff engineer for Trident Microsystems, responsible for all QAM IP within the DRX family of demodulators. From 2012 to 2020, they worked at Sigma Designs as a manager of demodulator development, heading a mixed team of algorithm and rtl designers. Noud is currently employed as a software engineer for ScreenPoint Medical.

Noud van Klinken began their education in 1976 at Vossius Gymnasium in Amsterdam. Noud continued their studies at Koninklijke Scholengemeenschap Apeldoorn from 1978 to 1984. In 1986, they obtained a propedeuse from HTS Arnhem in Computer Engineering. Noud then went on to Technische Universiteit Delft / ET (CarDit) from 1990 to 1997, where they earned an MsC (Ir.) in ET (computer architecture).
