Tod Harmon

Tod Harmon is the current VP of Finance & Operations at Scribd. Prior to joining Scribd, Tod served as the Chief Financial Officer at Oodle, a social commerce business funded by Greylock and Redpoint Ventures. Tod was responsible for leading the sales/due diligence process that resulted in the successful sale of Oodle to QVC, Inc. In addition, Tod drove focus on advertising revenue which helped Oodle achieve profitability.

Before joining Oodle, Tod served as the Chief Financial Officer at Six Apart, Ltd. Six Apart is a private, growing social media and publishing platform company with subsidiaries in Paris and Tokyo. Tod was responsible for all financial, legal, HR, IT, and facilities operations. During their tenure, Tod also managed the customer support and data center operations teams. While at Six Apart, Tod helped close a Series D round with increased valuation and drove the sale of the company's Livejournal social network raising cash that allowed the company to focus on a new business strategy. In addition, working with the VP of Corp Dev, Tod acquired numerous companies to build out product and service capabilities.

Tod Harmon is a Certified Management Accountant who studied business with an emphasis in finance at San Diego State University. Tod went on to earn their MBA with an emphasis in finance from San Jose State University.

Tod Harmon reports to Tony Grimminck, CFO. Tod Harmon works with Gurjit Manjal - Corporate Controller, Danielle White - Finance Transformation.
