Andy Phan

Andy Phan has extensive experience in healthcare and education, currently serving as an Emergency Department Scribe at Scribe.ology, LLC since June 2015, where responsibilities include recording patient histories and documenting medical information at Baylor University Medical Center and Parkland Memorial Hospital. In addition, Andy has held multiple roles at the University of Texas at Dallas since August 2013, including Freshman Mentor and Supplemental Instruction Leader, focusing on academic support for incoming freshmen and facilitating learning in challenging courses. A brief stint as a Research Intern at the University of Texas Southwestern involved work in medicinal chemical synthesis aimed at glioblastoma treatment. Andy holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry with a Music minor from the University of Texas at Dallas and has pursued language studies in French and Japanese.
