Douglas Bates

Douglas Bates, MD, FACR, has extensive experience in neuroradiology, currently serving as a staff neuroradiologist at Scripps Clinic Medical Group since 2007. With a background that includes founding StatRad, a nationwide teleradiology service provider, and co-founding RadConnect, a cloud sharing solution for medical imaging, Douglas has been a pioneer in the integration of technology in radiology. Additionally, Douglas is a co-founder of ZepMed, which recently launched the productivity tool CT CoPilot, and has contributed to the field through various mentorship roles and board memberships, including with Tech Coast Angels. Educational credentials include a fellowship in neuroradiology from the Cleveland Clinic and a medical degree from the University at Buffalo.
